Sarah Palin, torches and pitchforks

Worse, Palin’s routine attacks on the media have begun to spill into ugliness. In Clearwater, arriving reporters were greeted with shouts and taunts by the crowd of about 3,000. Palin then went on to blame Katie Couric‘s questions for her “less-than-successful interview with kinda mainstream media.” At that, Palin supporters turned on reporters in the press area, waving thunder sticks and shouting abuse. Others hurled obscenities at a camera crew. One Palin supporter shouted a racial epithet at an African American sound man for a network and told him, “Sit down, boy.”

I can’t say that I’m surprised. Plain and her blind-faith supporters don’t always exhibit class or basic understanding of how these things are supposed to be handled. “Maverick” politics has turned into a pep-rally for angry adults. At least, that’s how it looks from the outside.

Rebecca – thank you for stopping by and commenting. I’m not surprised either and I cannot wait for this election to be over.

it shows so clearly when you are not living a free & happy life, but a self-imposed oppressed lie…angry and bitter and always wanting to fight. She and everyone like her want to see everyone living a miserable, barren life…not even the wolves are safe from her inner demons. AND “Joe-six pack” what a f’n insult…
